Sunny California

We are not the sporadic leave on a vacation in the middle of the night type....but we did! Brett's family had been planning a trip to Grandma's Pebble Beach home for the 4th of July. We couldn't take the entire week off of work so we decided we could not make the trip with the fam. We worked the first half of the week and then on July 3rd at 11:30 at night we said why not? Lets go!! My sister Heidi had never been to Grandmas house before so she proceeded to call 10 coworkers to see if she could get work off (keep in mind this is at 11:30!) Brett and I both had the 4th of July weekend off of work and school so we started driving to California at 12:00. We just didn't see why we shouldn't. It was so out of the blue and totally not like us. We are more of a plan things out type of family.

We arrived 13 hours the next day and shocked Brett's entire family. They had no idea we were coming. We spend that day resting and then went to Seal Rock. We found so many star fish and saw a few sea otters. That night we made it to the July 4th Fire Works over the bay. Hallie thought it was the greatest!

JULY 1, 2005... Yes 3 Years!

Yes it has been 3 years! We went to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants Happy Sumo and then spent a romantic evening watching P.S. I Love You (Brett just said it was depressing but you know he really did like it).

It blows my mind that we have really been Mr. and Mrs. Brett Brady for 3 years! You always hear that time flies...but it is so true! It has been the best 3 years of my life. I say that with all honesty. There have been ups and downs but 95% ups. I love my cutie of a husband with all my heart and know that he loves me too. We have been so happy with our accomplishments as a family. I am so proud of how far Brett has come in school and he is definitely the best man I could have married! I love you Brett!

22 I am I am...

Thanks to everyone who made my Birthday a special one! I had a great 22nd Birthday on June 25th. I spent the day with my sister Jennifer and my Mom up in Salt Lake at Nordstrom Rack and TJMaxx (anyone who knows me well knows my weakness for a good deal). We then met up with the Brady family for a Birthday dinner at Cheese Cake Factory. Jennifer and her husband Jordan were the only ones from my family that could make it. It was about an hour and a half wait but well worth it! I was so excited to have everyone from Brett's family come including Truly who got special permission from her Doctor to leave her bed rest and come up for dinner. That was a great surprise! Dinner was tasty but the best part was having everyone there (everyone that could be...we really missed Brittany and her AZ gang). The next day we opened gifts and to my surprise everyone went in on a Cricket machine!!! If you haven't seen one or don't know what it is, you are totally missing out! I was absolutely thrilled. We had so much fun making shirts with freezer paper last time Brittany was up and the Cricket really came in handy. I was dieing to get one for MAYBE just MAYBE Christmas but I didn't even have to wait 2 weeks. A BIG thanks to everyone in the fam that went in on that! It made my Birthday awesome.

Sorry it's difficult to see everyone... we had a table of 15!

I LOVE cheese cake!
