Grow Baby Grow!

On Thursday we had our 10 week appointment with Dr. Judd. The baby was kicking and punching like crazy!! In the picture you can see it's little foot and toes. You can also see the cute little face. Don't worry...what looks like a Pinocchio nose is really just the baby's hand up by its face. The baby's fingers and toes are not webbed anymore and it is really starting to grow into a little Bremily.

The little nugget is about an 1 1/2 in from head to butt. It's heart beat was going so fast. It was 166 beats per min.

As for me, I was super sick starting at 6 weeks and now I feel like it might be letting up (knock on wood). So much for morning sickness...how about all day sickness. I am working full time and have recently taken over the HR department at work. This past week I worked the entire week including Saturday and I am totally worn out. I love that it is Sunday!

Now for the fun part. For all of you gender predictors, WHAT DO YOU THINK WE'RE HAVING? Here are the clues... (and no I don't know what I'm having until the end of October)

1 Food just doesn't sound good period...but I have been eating a lot of fruit. I like strawberries, peaches and grapes.

2 Usually meat is not my friend but dairy most defiantly makes me throw up. I can have small amounts but you won't find me eating a steak or drinking a glass of milk.

3 Greasy food :(

4 Carrots, celery, cucumbers, black olives, pickles...all dipped in ranch!

5 I love salty! The only restaurant that I crave is Happy Sumo. It is because of the edamame covered in rock salt and all the soy sauce. Everything is very salty!

6 Most of my real cravings have gone away, but in the beginning I was eating cottage cheese and tomatoes every day.

7 My skin has not been breaking out at all and has become really soft.

8 My hair is oilier than ever. I hate it but some say it points to a certain gender.

So...what is your conclusion? Let me know :)

I wouldn't have a clue!(based on what you told us. I never noticed those kind of things and don't know much about different craving and genders. I don't crave anything except ice, and that's only when I have a girl!) I'm glad it is growing though! I bet you just loved being able to see it again! :) I think that's the best part, until you have the baby! I will say this: pay attention to how often you have to shave, with the testosterone you may have to shave far more often. (I had to when I was pregnant with Glenn.) My guess, just for fun, you are having a girl!

My guess is a boy. My hair has been a lot more oily, I couldn't eat dairy at first and food in general didn't sound good. I lived off of saltine crackers. And like the other comment says, I've noticed that I have to shave a lot more. It's crazy!!! We are so excited for you guys.

its fun to guess...totally different for everyone though. People swore to me (even a nurse at Judds) salty cravings meant boys but I doubled up on female hormones. Having twice the amount of hormones in my body verses everyone else who only has single it's hard for me to make any prediction for you. although remeber how bad my skin was? still is actually?...so maybe you are having a boy. Dr. Judd told me one thing- you're hair will be oilier no matter what gender you're having it's part of being pregnant period, it's just the etrogen.
Hey silly you ordered a steak when we went to Caraba's last week LOL

I say it's a girl! I am so sorry you've been sick. I've been there it's rotten. Hopefully yours will go away at 12 weeks!

I think for sure you are having a girl!!! I felt sick all day when I was preggo with Presli and I always wanted salty stuff and my appetite was way wacky! haha Good Luck, and by the way I love Dr. Judd and Dr. Gordon they were my docs too!!

Well, hmm, at first I was thinking a girl. But if the gender thing goes off how you feel, I would bet a boy. I wasn't sick, I only threw up a few times (I am sorry to say to you), but I always wanted fruits, vegetables, and salty things. Dairy, (especially yogurt) was revolting to me! I got over that all by about the 14-15th week, and have loved milk ever since. So, hmm, so far you are sounding almost like me (minus the sick part, once again, I am so so sorry!) It might be a boy, if the symptoms go along the same lines.

I don't know you, but I found your blog through Sarah Mcgivens. What a neat story about getting pregnant. I really think I take for granted how easy i get pregnant. After reading a story like yours I am humbled. Congrats! As for what I think you could possibly be having. Kind of sounds like a girl to me. What are you wanting to have?

Hey Em, It's Melissa i havent seen you in a while and i found your blog, i was so excited. I'm so glad that the baby is growing and is healthy. I'm excited to find out the gender and i have no ideas what it is. The trend seems to be that alot of people are having girls so maybe it's a girl. I'm guessing you're not having more than one like you thought? Hope you're doing good!!
