10 for 1 challenge

this past week i experimented with my wardrobe
i haven't been able to do much shopping lately and was getting antsy to go on a spending rampage

emily frame became my inspiration.
with her 10 for 1 challenge and her shopping HIATU$ {she is very clever and adorable}
i decided to join in on this challenge

and was it a challenge!
here are my picks for one week
i could only choose TEN items from my wardrobe including tops, bottoms and shoes;
accessories and outerwear that protect you from the weather don't count.

dark skinny                                            high waisted trouser pant
{macey's}                                                 {nordstrom}

charcoal grey walking short             mustard silk blouse
{tjmaxx}                                                    {forever21}

 black and white striped shirt           hounds tooth pencil skirt
 {tjmaxx}                                                   {banana republic}

grey and lace shirt                              sequin bow tank
{tjmaxx}                                                    {walmart}

brown strappy flat                               black ankle boot
{nine west}                                              {kennith cole}

the results.....
{taking pictures of myself daily is embarrassing but i had to prove i did it}

the conclusion......
you can avoid the shopping crave too. just mix things up and pair outfits together that you may normally not. you'll be pleasantly surprised!

thanks for the inspiration emily!
{the flower in my hair on thurs was picked out of my dad's flower bed by steele. aww. i don't normally go for the hawaii look. haha.}

hi this is really random but i found your blog through emily frame. we just named our baby boy Steele and i was wondering where you got the name? i had never heard it before and we got it from our family history so i'm just curious. love the name :) :) and your little steele is adorable. my husband knows the brady's (he was really good friends with chelsey growing up and we had our wedding reception at "grandma" white's house.) small world!

What a fun challenge Emily. And you did such a good job, all of your outfits look so adorable! I love the idea of mixing and matching things in your wardrobe to spice it up. Sometimes I really want to go through my wardrobe, try on different combinations and write them down on a sheet of paper so they are right there and easy to remember ha. Anyway, well done :)

Also, I can't remember if I said anything or not, but THANK YOU so much for the shout out about my etsy shop. You are so awesome and such a good friend, I totally appreciate you doing that!
